Mimizan - Biarritz
Warren won Man of The Day today because he managed to get out of bed in time for breakfast...
As we were feeling a little worse for wear from last nights celebrations we set off at a fairly leisurely pace - which Mike would like to dispute! After miles of pine forest and cycle paths Bill decided to stop and put his jacket on because he was cold. All hell then broke out with a race to lunch of about 10 miles.
After arriving at the town, totally knackered, it took a few phone calls to locate the Scran Van, though thanks to Hazelīs homing pigeon instincts we did eventually find Andy and had another great food stop.
After lunch we set off for Biarritz. The terrain started to undulate so it was Brian and Chrisīs tandem down the hill first and up the hill last. Finally after 69 miles we arrived at our destination and all had a good look around the town, followed by Brianīs Birthday tea at the local chinese.
